Conveniently the week before we get married is Cam’s Birthday… For those that are keen to extend the wedding week celebrations to include a birthday in there, we would love for you to come celebrate and enjoy Cams birthday diner at xxxxx restaurant/pub in Launceston on Monday 27th of Feb at 6:30 pm.
They used to say three plus three was six but the way some of you count you would put it down as a birdie on a par three. A prize is involved so your score will be checked.
If golf is not your thing there is plenty to do in Launceston Bron is looking into some locations for a long lunch.
The beauty about having a birthday in Launceston is that conveniently one of Australia’s best golf courses (number two in Australia to be exact) is just up the road. So if you want to swing a club and loose a few balls too then the plan is:
- Early Shuttle from Launceston to Barnbougle golf course
- Play a round at the dunes (20 holes, Weird layout of the course)
- Have a beer and a lite bite at the clubhouse
- Shuttle back to Launceston (back approx. 5pm)
- Cost $300 pp???, this includes travel, set of Callaway club’s, pull cart, your round and a prize for the winner.
- I wish I could say it included electric carts but Barnbougle don’t use carts due to its coastal setting
- If you want the hassle to bring your own clubs go nuts you will save $50 but may struggle to get them on the flight to and from Flinders Island and may want to store them in Launceston.
- Bring: glove, balls, shoes, tees
