Details!

Arrival:

Your shiny Sharp aeroplanes will be landing just outside Whitemark – grab your rental car and your gear and head in to Whitemark / The Wharf.

If you’re keen to enjoy some fresh, seasonal island produce you can pre-order with the Larder from On Island Time. Any orders placed can be picked up from The Wharf in Whitemark once you’ve landed.

While in Whitemark pop in to The Interstate Hotel to pick up some beverages for your stay (there’s a cool room off the bar). If you’ve been entrusted with a booze pick-up by us, be sure to grab that too!

Finally, the Walkers IGA in town will have all your meat and grocery needs – stocked full of Tassie goodness! Again if you’ve been entrusted with a food pick-up by us, grab that too!

 The Welcome:

A family affair! Please bring the grandparents, children, pets etc.
Think of it as an elevated picnic!

We suggest picnic blankets (if you have something suitable at your accommodation), a warm jacket for the evening, sensible shoes (or some to change into), any entertainment for the kids to play outside, and as we love a little First Night Fever – prepare to kick on! Bring anything the kiddo’s might need to kip in one of the bedrooms until you’re ready to call it a night.

 Ceremony:

It’s the big day!

Parents! The divine Hannah and her mother-in-law will be taking on your little terrors -ehem- bundles of joy. They will be at Whitemark Foreshore Apartments (Chris and Beth’s abode) from 1.30pm until 11.30pm. You can contact Hannah on 0437 853 507

We suggest where possible car pooling to Killiecrankie for the Ceremony, the bus will then take us from Killiecrankie to The Wharf, and return you to your accommodation in the evening if you’re outside of Whitemark. Cars can be collected the next day at the Recovery if you car pool again. Those staying in Whitemark have the option to drive to and from the Ceremony and leave their cars at home for the Reception.

The ceremony (weather permitting) will be shoes off!

 Reception:

Between the ceremony and reception, we’ll have a little breather outside at The Wharf – think G&Ts on the lawn. This is the perfect opportunity to drop in on the little-uns (or not!)

Post party, the bus will drop everyone home along one route from Whitemark to Palana

 Recovery:

And breathe.

Simple BBQ on the beach. We will entrust a handful of you wonderful folk with things to bring, keep an eye on your inboxes!

In addition, swimmers, towels, sunscreen, picnic blankets – you know the drill
